DISPLAY : 8.9" WSVGA high-brightness TFT LCD, 1024 x 600 pixel Res
POWER : 3-cell l-ion battery
AUDIO : High-definition audio support, 2 built-in stereo speakers
MS-Sound compat, Built-in Mic
GRAPHICS : Intg Intel Graphics GMA950
NTWK : Acer 802.11b/g Wi-Fi Ntwk connection ; 10/100 Mbps Fast E'net
PORTS : 3 USB 2.0, VGA, Headphone/speaker/line-out jack, Mic-in jack

It works out that after my cash back rebate from Acer, I am only paying AU$510.
I should have it in some time today.

Orginally I was going for the Toshiba NB100, however the Acer just worked out $100 cheaper.
Plus I have a 5 in 1 Card reader which takes xD card. My main camera takes xD picture cards.

BTW, I am not after the Linux version. Reason being is that i want the larger hard drive? Plus I was reading that the SSD Drives on the Aspire One runs extremely slow.

The 3 cell battery's aren't that bad. I easily get 2hours of real usage with wifi on with my 3 cell Wind an I haven't even bothered to tweak the settings to try to extend it.

Yeah. The 3 cell battery does allow me up for 3 hours use. However it get quicky drained with my external hard drive attached.

Currently I am not fussed about it as I do have an power inverter in my car so I can charge the battery while I am on the road. However i will be looking at the 6 cell battery option real soon.
