Hp laptop help

My hp pavillion tx2000 wont connect to any network it doesnt detect them.
It only connects when i have ethernet cable in.
i have tried all the software update but nothing.
I need help!

Do you mean no wireless network? See if it is posted in Device Manager.

Also, you may have the wrong security (WPA, WPA2) If you have WPA, and your router has WPA2, you will not see it on your notebook.
