Default HP dv6700t, any comments?

Hey guys I am fixing to go to college and have of course been looking at laptops. I really only need something that can last a long time and run moderately fast. I am bringing my desktop to college, so gaming on this will not be necessary.

I have had the most trouble in deciding which brand of laptop to buy.

Anyways, I have found the HP dv6700t and it seems alright, but didn't know if anyone had experience with this series or HP in general.
Also, any other suggestions would be great.

Vista Home Premium 32bit
Intel Core 2 duo 2.0ghz
15.4" screen
2gb ddr2 667mhz
Integrated graphics
160gb hd 5400rpm
6 cell lithium battery
and the rest is just the normal stuff
Price: $650

Thanks guys

Asus has some great laptops. HP are good as well. Dell have some good ones as well even though many hate Dell. I love my Inspiron 1501.

But from the looks of the specs that laptop will do just fine. Are you going to be gaming or anything on it? If so you might want to find a laptop with a dedicated GFX card. Integrated doesnt do so well with games.

Same for GFX intensive apps like Photoshop. but if you are going to use it for mostly Office, Internet and school stuff this will be fine.

I do not accept support questions via EMail, PM, IM or my G+ page!

Phone: LG Optimus G Pro
Running: Stock JB from LG with Nova Launcher
