Hey guys im new here and I just had a quick question, which laptop is overall better?

The Pavilion G7 has a noticeably more powerful GPU, a crisper screen, 25% more storage space than the Envy and Altec Lansing Speakers (w/Dolby audio).

On the other hand, the Envy has expandable memory (up to 16gb!), Beats audio and one more USB 3.0 port. The prices are approximately the same.

If you're looking for a gaming computer, the G7 will be the preferable option with a more powerful CPU/GPU combo.

If you're not necessarily a gamer but still need a powerful computer, stick with the Envy. The expandable memory will do you wonders down the line.
