Default Help me choose an MSI Computer? Apache vs Dominator

I am stuck between this model apache and this model dominator. Please chime in. Worth the extra little bit of money? Pretty set on getting one of these two. Basically just want to see if anyone out there think the.....

Dominator's GTX870M and Core i7 4800MQ 2.7 GHz

is worth the extra 88$ over the

Apache's NVIDIA Geforce GTX860M and Core i7 4700HQ 3.2 GHz

dominator- http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT70-Domin...p/B00IMTQ6I6/r

apache- http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GE70-Apach..._cd_al_qh_dp_i

Thank you!

Sorry, here's the fixed links
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT70-Domin...iglink21621-20

Amazon.com : MSI GE70 Apache Pro-012 17.3-Inch Laptop : Computers & Accessories

Looks like that 870 is a nice upgrade, though.

I'd say the Dominator would be more worth it looking at the benchmarks for the 870m.

There's also the possibility of upgrading to the GTX 970m or 980m if MSI comes out with an official upgrade kit for the GT70 series (they did for the GT72 series) - tho if you don't care about your warranty, there's also some people that got it to work by modding their heatsink and plugging right in and then using a modified driver:

No problem.

For what it's worth... I'm enjoying my GT70; though it's not a Dominator edition, and only has a 770m. Thinking about upgrading to the 970m at some point though, using the procedure I posted above.

Hmm, I'm not quite that tech savy, at least not at the moment. Glad you're enjoying this model though. Appreciate the info.
