Help with computer

Recently I got a virus on my laptop and ever since I got rid of it my computer has been running very slow. I don't have anything important on the computer and I was wondering how to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall windows on it. I have a reboot disk or something like that that came with it.

Well if you run that disc when you boot your pc it will reformat your hard drive, wipe out everything, and reinstall windows fresh. Make sure to back up your important data before doing that. Make sure you get some decent antivirus and antispyware software as well, no need to make this habit or get your information stolen.
