Hello advice on Asus K52F-BBR5 notebook

Hello I was wondering if its wise to get a Asus K52F-BBR5 notebook Refurbished from tigerdirect for $321. I am kinda wary or refurbished item due to usually for me die in 2-3 yrs. I wanted to know in your opinion is that a ok deal or stay from refurb notebooks? This would be first notebook for me always been a desktop person build my own. Stayed away from notebook due to seeing friends notebooks die to fast or always problem and that's the reason skeptical of refurbished. Was mainly getting for ability to use internet without being at desk some portability easer to take to a friends house light gaming ect. Was trying to decide between that and android phone though phone have its limitations. Let me know your opinion on if worth to get or what you think wait till black friday and get same deal on a new notebook? Specs not bad for price though:
