Default Gateway ML6721 laptop

this is all i know about the laptop

but my freind has one and her MB went is there a way for her to replace it? and how much would it cost

a computer shop tryed chargeing her $400 to fix it im just wondering if theres a cheaper way?

Well you would have to find the same exact mobo that is in the laptop. From there you would have to know how to take the laptop apart and put it back together after you got it disassembled and replaced the mobo.

That would be the only way for it to be cheaper.

That's the problem with laptops in general; they are harder to sort out if something goes wrong. £400 is extortionate though, are you sure the mobo has gone?
