Default Fujitsu Siemens M3438G Hard Drive Problem ?

Hello, this hard drive in the Fujitsu Siemens M3438G (this is xp home laptop) the hard drive in this is a Samsung Spinpoint 80GB SATA drive doesnt work on a XP Pro Install as it says "setup did not find any hard disk drives installed" bla bla it also cannot find the hard Drive in the Vista installation either.

But, when i use this hard drive in MY Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptop(Which is Vista Ready) it CAN identify the Hard drive... but the Fujitsu Siemens M3438G CANT ?

i heard you need Sata/Raid drivers then you can put it on a Memory stick and install from there on Vista version ? what do i do
