I've tried a bunch of external cooling solutions (chill pad, big external fans, etc), but the most practical method seems to be running the internal fan higher. Since it's located in the PC, it actually moves the hot air around. I want to set the fan to run at a higher speed (75-100% maybe) all the time, at least while gaming.
My laptop is an HP dv9700t, anyone know of any programs that can change fan speed on HP's laptops?
