I really haven't been in the computer scene for at least a few years, so I feel pretty idiotic asking this stuff.
It's a store bought Hp first of all, I wish i had never done this first of all but I haven't bothered to get a credit card which makes online purchasing a bit hard.
2gig Ram, Amd Turion 64x2 TL-56 1.8Ghz, Nvidia Geforce Go 6150, Vista home premium.. I figured it would at least run the hl2 engine and World of Warcraft, which it can but at such unbearable framerates that it's unplayable. ( If i set hl2 to the lowest resolution with no graphics it's alright single player. )
Am i doing something wrong? Have i not set something up? All my drivers are updated... It seems weird that a Laptop that i bought about three months ago can't run games that have been out for a couple years.
Any suggestions? Or did i just buy a pos? And are any of the specific parts upgradeable ?
