Hi guys

Im trying to run an external monitor on a DELL c600 I plug the monitor in turn laptop on and windows starts as normal but only on the laptop monitor then if i close the lid it goes to the pc monitor and stays there no matter what i do until i unplug it. I want my display to show on both monitors all the time.
