Hey guys, how do i explain this haha, my brother has this system and lives in a hostel ryt, he uses Avast antivirus free edition, as default , and he cant do dam near everything... even when i tryed to restore to factory settings, i gt an error message saying "Windows cannot restart the computer into the Windows Recovery environment. To complete the operation"

It also has 38 known infections,
please help!

What do you mean that "he can't do darn anything"? Just slow or buggy?

Did you get rid of those viruses? Try Malwarebytes. That checks for malware, can also find viruses.

Well, when he goes to open explorer, it says, failed to execute.. and when he tries to open Chrome, nothing happens, but, we can access control panel..

Get into safe mode and run your Avast virus check. Also get and run Malwarebytes.
