download speeds

i have 2 lap tops both the same spec and running off the same router, but for some reason the one downloads at 6613kbps , which is not too bad but the other is only downloading at 600kbps which is super slow ..dont know why can any body help?

Can you post the specs of the laptops?

What kind of router do you have and what are you basing your speeds off of? Normally your receiving and downloading speed is based on the card your using.

Spyware, virus, or different programs would be my first thought.
