Default Does a laptop like this exist?

Tryin to find a laptop for a friend, she needs it for some multitasking and web cam live stream and not a whole lot more, so decent internet capibility but nothing highly demanding in the term of video card or anything.

she needs it pretty rugged too, she's had ports go out and bend and get messed up and wants something tougher.

I imagine 1.5ghz dual core, 2gb ram would be overkill - maybe 3gb ram in case of vista or memory hogging apps, that's not hard to find really - but Rugged?

anyone know of some rugged laptops?

You can get this:

I don't know what budget you have. Most of the really rustic ones are $1,000+. Like the Panasonic ones.

Toughbooks are awesome. Had them in the John Deere Implement I worked at over the summer for the techs, so if they dropped it while working on a tractor or some other equipment, it wouldn't damage it terribly.
