Does anybody know of any cheap laptops that can be upgraded easily?

As in, put video cards or whatever the laptop equivalent is and RAM cards?
I'm going to get one, but do not know of any.

What do you mean?

A video card cannot be upgraded.
RAM can easily be upgraded as long as you know what type to get.

You say you want to get a laptop? What do you need in a laptop? Screen size? RAM? HDD space? CPU? What will you use it for?

A laptop cannot be upgraded easily aside from a hard drive and RAM. The only way you can upgrade 99% of the laptop GPU's out there is by upgrading the entire motherboard. This also goes for the CPU, there is usually a variance of 100 to 400 mhz you can change out on a CPU, but short of that you'd have to again upgrade the motherboard.

In short no, buy what you really need because upgrading anything other than a hard drive or RAM is almost impossible.

Yes, laptops are one of those items that the way you buy it is the way it stays. As Lex stated the only things you can upgrade are the ram and harddrive. As far as new vid cards, cpus, etc the simple answer is no
