Display Drivers

Hello there. The resolution on the laptop I use is stuck at 800 by 600. It uses an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400. I was wondering if this was the fault of its drivers. I used a program called Driver View to view the display drivers, and there seem to be 8 of them installed, 1 of which is described as a display driver (ati2dvag.dll) and another as a video driver (vga.sys)... Is this harmful to the system?

Also, my moniter's display is hooked up to my TV and I would prefer to not do anything to compromise their synchronization...

Go and install the latest drivers from ATI for your gpu and operating system.

The thing is, Hefe, this computer uses Windows Media Center and ATI Mobility Radion X1400, which is not listed as a GPU for WMC on ATI's website.

The xp drivers should work just fine.
