Question Dell XPS 1530?

Hey my friends,
I have a few questions concerning buying a notebook, that fits my needs.

Dell XPS M1530 Laptop

- I own a 24" Dell Monitor, which can only be connected via a DVI or HDMI for the high resolution, but the Dell only has a VGA output. But also an HDMI, but also says HDMI Audio Digital Interface? Makes that a difference and can I have a dual View Setup with the HDMI output?

- Is the resolution of 1900*1200 too high for a 15,4" notebook?

Hope you can help me,
Kind regards,
Michael =)

1900x1200 resolution video may be overkill for a 15.5" screen but extends the capability for use with large external monitors.

yeah. your laptop's monitor as the primary and the other monitor as a secondary.
