Hello, I purchased a used Dell Laptop. I was able to log into BIOS just fine. However, in BIOS I can't really change anything because to unlock anything I need the administrative password.
How do I go about figuring out the administrative password? The service tag entered in bios is messed up and is clearly not the original service tag. I thought about contacting dell but when attempting support it required me to have a service tag at least. Also, I do have suspicion that the laptop might have been stolen before it was sold to me due to how the service tag is inputted. I don't want to risk getting in trouble by contacting dell only to find out it was a a stolen laptop.
Is there any way I can clear the Admin password?
