problem with a friends lappy and muggings here has to do it.
they had probs with setting up the router i managed to fix this by going to the main BT box and using the slot behind the face it seems that the rest of the house is wired up wrong, anyway thought great unplug the LAN line and only take a few mins for the wireless, but fuff just my luck it's missing.
here is what i have done:
installed the latest drivers and original ones from the resource cd.
tried add hardware, this will let it show Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG in device manager but with a exclamation mark, when i try to install drivers again the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG vanishes from device manager again.
made sure it was switch on in the bios.
flashed the bios.
last option is to reformat computer if possible.
any ideas how i can get it going.
