How does a laptop dual core stack up against PC cpu? I mean how fast are they? The problem is that I have a couple of laptops which run on

2.0 Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60
3.00 GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650

and

2.1 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100
2.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS

So, how fast are the procs compared to those stated for requirements in PC programs? I mean I could see requirements of 3.0Ghz, 2.4 Ghz and such on certain games and applications.

Actually I'm talking about this:
http://www.techist.com/forums/f84/upgrading-game-223792/

Lex says that a 1.8Ghz dual core is faster than a basic 2.4Ghz proc, so I was wondering, up to how much can I check the required processor for games and the like? I guess its safe to say that I can run something that required 2.4Ghz, and maybe up to 2.8Ghz, but can the processors of my laptops take on 3Ghz requirements?

Also regarding the graphics card, I'm not sure about the Nvidia, but I know that It'd be better to play on the Toshiba, and the ATI has 512mb DDR3 memory, so I guess I'm safe with anything below that requirement.

The only problems would be how to calculate if the procs of the laptops are still able to match the requirements of the program.

Oh yeah, both of the units above are laptops

Toshiba Satellite P300D
2.0 Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60
3.00 GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650

and

HP Pavilion dv2855ee
2.1 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100
2.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS
