CPU 100% max problem

So I am still working on this Dell that has a problem with the CPU running at 100% I checked it for any viruses running mal-ware bytes and my company's software. It found something and was able to get rid of it. The laptop actually started running well for a bit and he brought it back to me and informed me that it was still doing it. I looked at it again, no viruses. Is there some other things I should be looking out for? Any info would be great. Thanks

You need to find the process thats chopping the cpu then deal with it.

Task manager will tell you.

Thats the thing. nothing is running. I just let it sit for a bit.

If nothing is running, then how do you know it's 100% CPU usage?

Open up Task Manager, go to Processes tab and sort by CPU usage. What program is taking up CPU?

Also, what OS is it running?
