I recently bought a Laptop and I soon found myself in need of a way to connect my laptop only supplied with A HDMI port and a VGA port. Unfortunately my TV only has a S-video and RCA port. While in my search for a way to connect my laptop to the TV I came across a VGA to RCA-S-video Cable, which I bought. When I try to connect my laptop to the TV. My laptop does not recognize the TV at all. The cable I purchased was " Amazon.com: VGA Adapter to TV S-Video RCA Out Cable for PC Video: Electronics " Am I missing something? I was hoping I would just be able to plug it into my laptop and the TV and I would be using my TV as my monitor. I would really appreciate some help with my problem. Thank You Kindly.
