Concerning rebooting

Hi,

I'm thinking of rebooting my laptop, but I'm concerned that it might cause some unwanted changes.

If I decided to reboot my laptop to factory condition will this change the ip address?

And do I need to re enter my internet connection?

You mean reformat.

On a reformat, you will have to reinstall drivers, if not detected by Windows, or does not work correctly.

Your IP will be reset, it will work just fine. Your "internet connection" is set on your modem. You may need Ethernet drivers, but not always.

Just follow instruction your OS installation disc, if its windows 7, then upon completion it should find missing drivers for you. Just make sure and back up any data or files you wan to save, to like a removable hdd or usb sticks.
