Computer space

My new laptop has 300 gig space. I've filled 30gb with my music and pictures (dont have that many). Im not sure how to use the rest of my HD space. Can anyone give me some tips as to what to fill up my Hard Drive with?

thanks for your help. I've got it partitioned into three 100 GB partitions.

90% of mine is filled up with backups and movies. Whenever I download any driver, I back it up (just in case I don't have access to the Internet)

I've got about 2.5 terabytes filled with my old collection of TV shows and movies... all in digital format now, so I can stream it to my PS3 or another computer in the house.

The rest is filled up with music and downloads.
