I've successfully installed XP on my Toshiba Satellite (original Vista.) During the install, the computer wanted me to partition the hard drive. I tried not to partition the 120 gig HD but the installation failed.
I then tried the reformat again and partitioned 20 gigs that I thought were for the XP operating system. The XP install was successful with the 20 gig partition. However, I just looked at my system properties and it said that I've got a 20 gig HD with about 15 gigs of free space . The other 100 gigs is "gone."
Is there any way for me to get my 100 gigs back without reformatting my laptop again?
