Compaq Presario V6000 Problems.

I have a Compaq Presario V6000 laptop that Ive for about a year now, and just recently its been acting up. I installed windows xp black here recently, and about a week ago it started acting kinda funny. It will power on, but it wont boot up. Sometimes it will, but today, nothing. Yesterday, nothing. It will not start up. I dont have a warranty of any kind. I pulled the battery and and tried crl alt f7 f8 thing(dont know what that was supposed to do) and I dont know what to do now. I know this computer isnt shot.

XP Black is a pirated version of Windows XP. Get legal, as in install a full licensed version, and we will see what we can do to help you.

From what I have read, some versions of XP Black come with malware.
