Anytime I press a button on my keyboard I can't use my mouse for 2 seconds. After the 2 seconds, I can use my mouse. Problem is I can't play games that require me to hold a button down and use the mouse. I don't have this problem when using a USB mouse, only when using the trackpad. I have a Lenovo ideapad y550 running on vista.

Reinstall the drivers for the touchpad. Might also want to check the settings within windows for the touchpad.
Sounds like there is some thing messed up with your mouse and it's connection to your motherboard. If reinstalling your software drivers does not work (check for updated ones too), you might want to to have a look at your mouses connection to your notebook. However be careful when opening up your laptop. You can easily break your mouses ribbon connection.
