Can't surf internet with laptop

No the User ID is an ID that I selected. It's not an email address.

The password won't show. I've been searching other menus to try to find the password. Can't find it.

I don't know.....I might know it but........

I would call your ISP and talk with them about resetting it and they should have your credentials or should be able to reset them for you

Hey guys, I finally figured it out. In the modem settings page, there is an area to block internet service for specific devices. I tried unblocking that laptop device and it worked. I was trying a few weeks ago to check something for my roommate and was changing some of the settings. I must have done that by accident. Mystery solved.

Good for you! Although ya know next time you might want to mention that you were playing around with stuff in there. You had us (at least me anyway) under the assumption you'd never messed with router settings before... as in if you wouldn't even know how to log in! lol
