Default Can't stop CPU from lowering when Screens off

Sounds weird, but when I leave my laptop sit, and not use, the cpu throttles down, though I have it set at high performance power plan, with only the screen set to turn off after 15mins.

I know its happening, as a when I'm folding, the unit will take 5 times longer to do the work.

I've searched everywhere I know, and can't seem to find a place to stop it from happening.

Thanks

a bios setting? Thou it may not give you the option with a laptop. Look for the C-Functions and disable any you see if possible.
