I recently bought a 7' notebook to use with usb sticks etc , it runs ce and im unable to download anything using this when online i have tried updating ce to no avail . I want to put some sort of antivirus onto notebook for when i do go online .

Does anyone have any ideas ???

cant find any sort of model number on it .

Just looked in the manual and its main features are ..

Processor VT8500
Display 7 inch 800 480 high resolution TFT- LCD , digital screen true colour image display
Input device standard keyboard and mouse 80 key
Communications broadband internet access, 10/100Mb ethernet port , built in wireless network adapter
System Embedded windows ce 6.0 operating security and antivirus ...

But i cant find antivirus and cant download anything ..

Well, since its ce... I doubt theres any virus for it... So an AV isn't needed.

But what about when i go online ?

Offline or online...... no difference.

Virus/spyware need to be writen for the OS, if you don't have the proper files in windows,the irus can't run.

I dont know about ce abnd downloading
