Buying new laptop

Hi,

I'm wanting to buy a new laptop, as good a spec as possible, for up to £1000. I will be doing video/3d design/university stuff on it, so it will need to be good for that. Everything else is ok, except I would like to keep it as lightweight as possible.

I would be greatful if anyone could give me some recommendations, obviously the cheaper the better - as long as it can do the job.
