Default Which brands are overated and which one are not?

Hi!!

I want alaptop with the 2630qm i7 Intel processor with 4gb+ memory, decent graphic card, etc. Many brand offer laptop like that between 800$ and 1200$.

MSI and Asus are near the 800$ range
HP and Dell more in the 1000$ range
Fujitsu and Sony near 1200$ range

I noticed that the MSI and Asus are cheaper and offer a little more memory for cheaper BUT fujitu offer better graphic card.

What would you do?

I don't know anybody that has a Fujistu. I would stay away from HP. Dell isn't bad, but good luck with support.

ASUS, Toshiba and Antec are my top three, in that order.

ASUS is not meant for intensive gaming. On my ASUS UL80T, I can play SC2 flawlessly at medium.

Toshiba is an excellent gaming powerhouse. It is known for that.

What exactly do you want to use this for? If gaming, what games?

Every laptop has a wide price range, of different configurations.

I mainly want to use it for autocad. Maybe SC2 but don't care to play at low or medium.

I want something that will last.

I had the HP DV6 6070CA in mind. Why not HP?

I don't find any Toshiba laptop with the Intel i7 2630QM processor.

^Not really. You just won't be paying $800 which is normal for gaming laptops.
