I recently bought a laptop with a bluray player. Feeling sort of scammed I realized it didnt come with the full on powerdvd 12 (to play bluray) and that powerdvd 8 could only play HD. I then downloaded the free trial from cnet and put in the bluray movie 300. Dissapointingly it was incredibly fuzzy even on my 1920x1080 resolution. I'm pretty mad that I payed for a bluray player and almost payed for the software to play bluray, and the playback looks like 280p on youtube. Is my bluray player not good? Is the disc not good? Is the trial software not good? I can't seem to find any answers
