Back to school at 30! Need help finding good notetaking computer!

In OneNote, it's under the Draw tab on the ribbon. Just pick a pen style in the Tools section, and you should be able to draw.

It's not working. I go there but it won't let me click on pen or draw.

I am doing it from a standard laptop with no graphics pen.
Where would I go to find the information?

I don't have a pen input device.

Here is where I currently go on OneNote:
If you're using a pen-input device, click Pen

on the Writing Tools toolbar, and then handwrite your notes anywhere on the page. To switch back to typing at any time, on the Writing Tools toolbar, click Type/Selection Tool.
