going to the store to check it out today. seems like a steal to me. been looking around for a laptop for college for a while now and I think i finally found it. any opinions?

yeah, honestly for a c2d, 3gigs of ram, it's nearly impossible to come across for $600. $600 is more the price for a pentium dual core, or if you're lucky you can find an AMD x2. the only 'negative' is the 160gig hd, but since I have my PC also 160 gigs is more than enough.

Pentium Dual-Core's are just C2D's with just half the cache you know....

but thats a good deal..
