Default ATI drivers for linux?

I'm trying to find drivers for the ATI® Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470 Hybrid X2 but for linux, not sure if this needs to be in this section or in the linux section. I really just need to get my lappy done! almost there, using Ubuntu 9.4 to type this so it's almost there. thanks for the help!

Need help with Ubuntu

My 2nd post might be of help.

Envy

That is what i have used for my nvidia drivers in Ubuntu several times and it has worked out much easier than trying to do it any other way.

I just want to say, in my experience ATI Linux drivers are terrible compared to nVidia's.
