Newegg.com - Recertified: ASUS G74 Series G74SX-BBK7 Refurbished Notebook Intel Core i7 2630QM(2.00GHz) 17.3" 8GB Memory DDR3 1333 1TB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M
So I'm getting pretty close to pulling the trigger. I'm curious if you guys think this is a good deal or not... I've purchased refurbs for years so I have no issues with buying one here. I love to game so the graphics card is a big deal for me but I also deal with a lot of VM's too.
ASUS G74 Series G74SX-BBK7
Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.0GHz (Hopped for higher but what can you do)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (Very pleased)
500GB x 2 Hard Drive (Will likely snatch a SSD when I get a little more cash)
8GB DDR3 (Will up to 16GB some time soon... I deal with a lot of VM's - Maybe)
17.3" HD+ 1600 x 900 (I wanted 1080 at first but to be totally honest this resolution is great and will allow me to play games at higher settings... Though my laptops have never been larger than 15" so advise if need be)
USB 3.0 & HDMI
Thanks for the input! It's been a few years since I've purchased much of anything! Oh and my current laptop has finally called it quits. No more HP's for me.
EDIT: Oh and I have a shoprunner account so I would get 2-day free shipping.
EDIT2: Seems like the gimp up the GPU... Not sure what to think of that.
