Would you trust buying an Asus brand laptop? in the market for one what you guys think?

Definitely. I would trust one of theirs way more than Dell, HP, Acer, etc.

ASUS is a great brand that makes quality products, however their customer service has become sub par if you do happen to have a problem in my expierience.

Just as good as any. Really, it's more about what's inside than outside. If they use cheap, crappy hardware, then you're going to have a subpar experience with their device. That said, Asus uses pretty decent hardware.

They make their own hardware for the most part . The boards, at least.
