To start off, I'm a big Battlefield series buff. I've logged more than 2500 hours into Battlefield 2 and some more into 2142 but mainly BF2 (still play it all the time).

Anyway, Battlefield: Bad Company2 is coming out soon and the PC beta is being released in less than a month. They just released the requirements and I'm kind of worried that my G1S won't suffice.

Asus G1Sn-X1 specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 @ 1.83 GHz
4 GB DDR2 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS
320GB 7200rpm HD
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

I'm worried my CPU wont be able to handle it (since they say minimum 2.0GHz), everything else looks adequate though. Maybe I'm stressing too much and don't need to worry so much about the CPU.

What do you think?

How hard is it to upgrade the CPU to a T9300? Is overclocking the T5550 to 2.0 GHz possible without creating an overwhelming risk? I've never modified a laptop before

Thanks in advance.

Can a mod please move this to the Gaming forum? Not really getting any action in here.

Thanks.
