Default Asus Eee 1005HA RAM Speed??

I just bought the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA-PU1X-BK with a CORSAIR 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 of RAM. I installed the RAM, booted fine, but i noticed the PC ran sluggishly. I downloaded and ran CPUZ and noticed my CPU was idling at around 800MHZ.... I figured i had the wrong ram speed causing a bottleneck. I installed the old stick and the CPU was running at the appropriate speed. And the stock stick of RAM says DDR2 followed by some numbers and 800 so that leads me to believe it's DDR800.

C/N: Can anyone confirm that the memory i need it DDR2 800 for my laptop?
