What are you doing in Uni? Lenovo is a good strong brand. No matter, it is an excellent choice. Not the best for compiling, but overall a nice laptop.

Should play most games at medium-high at best.

I'd pick up an SSD for it. Here you can claim nearly the whole cost back on tax if you're a student, and tbh it'll make one **** of a difference. Even if that hdd installed is 7200 over 5400, I'd do it.

I've no idea about laptops. Do they have more than one 2.5" storage slot ? I need the 500GB of Storage.

And i'm doing a HND in Computing, specialising in Programming and Games Development in my second year. And then doing an extra 3rd year to turn it into a BSc Honors degree. Then maybe a MSc in Games Programming after that (Though thats 3+ years away, i'd hope to have a new laptop by then)

Some laptops have dual hdd slots, most don't though. I do what MoM does as well, keep your data/stuff on an external drive and keep the SSD for the OS and programs. 64Gb should do you fine tbh

I run a 60GB SSD, keep all my programs but the very very small on my secondary. I currently have 28.96GB free of 59.62GB.
