Default amd vs intel

As far as laptop processors go, whats the huge difference? I understand the C2D will be faster but will it be a ton faster than the AMD processors? As I said in my other thread, I will only be doing light gaming... up to call of duty 2 so I mean, would an amd maybe be a better route to go?

For a laptop i would go with whatever is cheaper. You arent really going to be overclocking a laptop so the amd system is probably the way to go.

It depends what kind of deal you are getting.

I'd say if the AMD was around 300-400mhz faster than the C2D at the same price then go with the AMD...otherwise C2D all the way

the prices of a amd mobile chip are quite on par with the c2d's last time i checked, id goc2d if i where you, unless the amd is substantially cheaper, but i say c2d.
