I manage to screw up the easiest of things sometimes, and this just goes to show it.

I followed the instructions that were on the paper given with the CDs (not sure how anyone but me could screw this up) and I ran into a problem after changing out the System Disk with the Recovery Disk (1). I got the error:

Restore failed - reason 0xa000000e.
Click OK to restart the computer.

Upon restarting the computer, I then got this bleak message:

Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v9.4.5
Copyright (C) 2000 - 2007 Broadcom Corporation
Copyright (C) 1997 - 2000 Intel Corporation
All rights reserved.
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
Operating System not found.

After I press a random assortment of keys to get past that screen, it comes to the Windows Recovery Screen. When I choose Launch Setup Repair it simply resets the screen. If I choose to Start Windows normally, it loads and loads forever (never actually loading).

Could anyone point out what I should do so that I can just get to where I wanted to be? That is, how to get back to the Factory Install, with nothing on it but a clean copy of the Operating System?

Thank you!

And how do I go about finding that without being to able load Windows?

Sorry, I'm really a Newb Techie as my lil' tag says.

*Unless it was there from the start, I doubt it's there now. The laptop did not originally belong to me, hence why it might be lacking. In which case, is there any alternative past that?*
