ABS G3 A45 Laptop - What is it worth?

I'm trying to sell my laptop, partly because it's around 3 years old. I have it listed on ebay, but I'm not sure if I'm getting ripped off on it since I paid $1,500... It is a great laptop, plays games well (Radeon 9700).THREE years ago. Someone offered me $450 for it. I don't know what to do, partly because I do need a laptop but I want to downsize (fast, but smaller). You see, I'm doing webdesigns, custom programming, and custom software for people and I have to actually use my laptop to go to THEM and show them how do use my software, or give them concepts and what not. So what I want is a very (much cheaper) good laptop, that can be used as this. So what would you sell this laptop as? $450 is about right. That laptop is very low grade compared to specs you can get for $600 or so now.

So you say that's a good deal (for me)? I wanna get the HP TX series. But one that's really small that I can use for work and watching movies. I really didn't play games on my laptop anyhow. Laptop+games = suckage

IMO yes that is a fair deal. The laptop is older. 3 years in PC time is quite a lot. With laptops now that come with Core 2 Duos and jsut about the rest of the specs the same sellign for $600-$900 dependign on the other configs.

I would honestly say that $450 is a good price to get for that laptop.

That's a good deal. I sold the same model to some one for $500 about 1 year ago. $450 is a little more than it's worth imo so if some one is offering then sell it by all means. I don't think you can do any better than $450.

Well someone did it buy it now for $600. So I was excited. Got a e-mail from ebay today, said my auction was closed and the user account that placed the bid was unauthorized.

That's the stuff people fall for all the time. Forward that all to ebay and paypal's fraud departments, they'll let you relist for free and all. Selling laptops on ebay is tricky business because so many frauds like this occur. You've got to specify in the description that you won't ship out of country.
