I've been looking everywhere to see if my 2-in-1 laptop is able to support a stylus that can detect different pressures, mostly to be used for drawing. I have an Asus Q52UQ, and looking into the DirectInput devices, it has an Atmel MaXTouch Digitizer.

From what I can tell of the specs, sounds like the touch screen is just a standard capacitive digitizer, not a pressure-sensitive screen (such as a Wacom-based screen).

Well if it was pressure-senstive, the specs of the display would have stated that. Everything on the display only mentioned standard capacitive touch.
