You might be right about that. The picture on that Lenova laptop looked like a digital camera picture it had so much resolution!

I may try the AmCap or one of the programs that CalcProgrammer1 mentioned.

Last night, I went into Windows Movie Maker. Under "capture video" it had "capture from video device." I clicked on that and it allowed me to adjust some of the webcam's settings. I was able to increase the resolution to 1280 X 1040. The test picture is small but it seemed to have better resolution, however, the settings don't remain saved and if I turn on the camera without using Windows Movie Maker, it still has a low resolution picture.
