$4000, 8088 @ 1mhz, 256k ram, 16mb harddrive, dos 3 ... about all i can remember about that system
486DX, 8mb ram, 140mb harddrive, dell winows 3.11
then upgrade to original pentium, sent it back cause it made mistakes (lol if anyone remembers that...)
p133 32mb ram, 4gb harddrive !!! lol windows 95
433 celeron / 810 mobo ... 64 or 128 mb ram, cant remember windows 98se

sold the powerbook for my current system
athlon 64 x2 3800+. dfi lp slidr, 7800gt, 2048 ocz plat., audigy 2 zs plat. --> debian unstable / 2.6.15-1-smp
oh and sitting in my closet is a mac classic II, dunno the specs, works great lol, and a p2 266mhz mobo/cpu, and a p3 mobo/cpu @ 733mhz

That whole thing costed 1700 bucks canadian.
A few weeks before I got it i had a 486 but I don't count that because it broke 6 days after I got it.

the first one was intel celeron
500mhz, (no idea abt how much cache it had!!)
64 mb SD RAM(then upgraded to 192MB SDRAM)
only CREATIVE cdrom --48x
then upgraded to sony writer 48-24-48
although i had a multimedia keyboard i did not have an optical mouse
no videocards or 3d cards
15 inch color monitor
and..........well.......ummmm........thats about it!!!!
