I have always been a fan of the Microsoft 5 Button Intelli-Mouse Optical. As for mouse mat, i got this Flexi-Glow w@nkware mouse pad.

I just have this D-Link mouse pad with the gel hand rest that my mom got at Big Lots lol. As for a mouse, I have an optical one that doesn't function, so I'm using a 2 button ball mouse.

apparently Teflon is a good surface for mice
I read an article about someone cutting the bottom out of a frying pan and using that for his mouse pad

i have an excellent optical mouse (thermaltake xaser) on a grey generic mousepad. I plan to get a better pad sometime, maybe with a built in gel wrist pad.

I use the Logitch Marble Mouse and nothing else. Well, cept for the remote for the HTPC...
And I have a LavaLamp Mousepad, not sure on the real name, but I got it from Thinkgeek a few years back.
