y freeze while bootup?

hey guys anyone know y my xp freezes for like 3 secs whiel booting up then continues??


is it my hdd? its 200 gb maxtor it came with my hp

It's loading.
Why does my game freeze for 3 seconds when I join a server, it couldn't be loading the map could it?

lol it never froze be4 just started happening

Try defragmenting.

Then try typing "msconfig" in your run box and going to the startup tab. Then click "disable all" and save the changes and reboot. Also try running some anti-spyware programs. Spy sweeper, microsoft anti-spy, ad-aware, etc. Also try running a registry cleaner like CCleaner.

After all that is done defrag again.
